The Avengers 2 Age of Ultron – Paul Bettany is Vision!

Actor Paul Bettany (pictured below, you may remember him for his role in Priest) joins the cast of The Avengers 2 aka The Avengers Age of Ultron. The actor is set to play the role of Vision. For those who don’t know him, Vision is a superpowered android created by the robot Ultron to hunt down the Avengers. But the android eventually turns against his evil creator and joins forces with the team of superheroes.

Avengers 2 Movie Trailer

Plot:
“As the US Government create a force, known as Ultron, The Avengers are told they are not needed any longer. But when Ultron turns against Humanity, it’’ time for The Avengers to assemble yet again for their most dangerous challenge ever.”

You may recall that Paul Bettany lent his voice to J.A.R.V.I.S. in the previous Iron Man movies. So how is the whole thing going to turn out? Did Ultron somehow bring Tony Starck’s Artificial intelligence into subservience and gave him an android body at some point?

The Avengers 2 Age of Ultron is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.

Hector and the Search for Happiness Movie Trailer

We’ve got our hand son the official trailer of Hector and the Search for Happiness, the upcoming adventure comedy drama movie directed by Peter Chelsom and starring Simon Pegg, Rosamund Pike, Toni Collette, Stellan Skarsgard, and Christopher Plummer:

HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS

Hector is losing patience with his patients’ search for happiness…
So he’s decided to find it himself!

Based on the book of the same name by François Lelord.

Plot:
“Actor Simon Pegg plays Hector, an eccentric yet irresistible London psychiatrist in crisis: his patients are just not getting any happier! He’s going nowhere. Then one day, armed with buckets of courage and an almost child-like curiosity, Hector breaks out of his sheltered vacuum of a life into a global quest to find out if happiness exists. More importantly, if it exists for Hector. And so begins a colorful, exotic, dangerous and hysterical journey.”

Some uplifting and wise words from the trailer:

“We should concern ourselves not so much with the pursuit of happiness but with the happiness of the pursuit.”

Anyway, Hector and the Search for Happiness looks like a great adventure comedy movie. Impatient to see the whole thing!

No official release date yet.

Manglehorn Movie starring Al Pacino

Actor Al Pacino got the lead role in Manglehorn, an upcoming drama movie directed by David Gordon Green based on a script by Paul Logan. Here’s a first official look at the actor in the film:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Plot:
“AJ Manglehorn (Al Pacino) is an aging, ordinary guy in a small town. He nurses his sick cat, squeezes out a conversation with the local bank teller every Friday, and eats at the same place every day.
But there is more to Manglehorn than meets the eye: he’s an ex-con who, 40 years ago, gave up the woman of his dreams for a big ‘job’. He now obsesses daily over the choices he made. After a dramatic effort to start over, Manglehorn faces a terrifying moment and is unmasked as a guy with a very, very dark past.”

All Pacino as a man with a checkered past? And a former con-man with that? Great cast me think! Let’s hope the movie will make use of his talent!

The film has yet to get an official release date.
