A first official picture of Adam Sandler in The Cobbler, an upcoming fantasy comedy movie written and directed by Thomas McCarthy:

Plot:
“A cobbler has the ability to metaphysically step into the lives of the people whose shoes he repairs.”

Besides Adam Sandler, the cast also includes Dustin Hoffman, Steve Buscemi, Dan Stevens, Elena Kampouris, Melonie Diaz, and Method Man.

There’s no official release date yet, but the film should hit theaters sometime in 2014.
