The film is directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini and based on script by Michelle Morgan.

The title of the series obviously refers to the double helix structure of DNA. Now, where does the DNA causing the disease comes from? Is it the result of genetic engineering or did they stumble upon alien DNA?

The TV series Helix should premiere on SyFy sometimes in 2014.

Nicolas Cage plays the role of the detective and John Cusack plays the role of the serial killer. Besides Nicolas Cage and John Cusack, the cast also includes Vanessa Hudgens, Curtis Jackson, and Radha Mitchell.

For those who haven’t heard about him, the real-life Robert Hansen stalked and murdered between 17 and 21 young women, kidnapping them and taking them out to the Alaskan wilderness where he shot and buried them! A really creepy man!
