Let’s watch the first official teaser trailer of The Boxtrolls, the upcoming 3D stop-motion animated movie directed by Anthony Stacchi and Graham Annable for Laika Studios (the company that brought us Coraline and Paranorman):
THE BOXTROLLS
Plot:
“The film tells the tale of the Boxtrolls, monsters who live underneath the charming streets of Cheesebridge, who crawl out of the sewers at night to steal what the townspeople hold most dear: their children and their cheeses. At least, that’s the legend the townspeople have always believed. In truth, the Boxtrolls are a community of lovable oddballs who are raising as one of their own an abandoned and orphaned human boy named Eggs. When the Boxtrolls are targeted by a villainous exterminator who is bent on eradicating them, Eggs must venture aboveground to save them, where he teams with an adventurous young girl to save not only the Boxtrolls but the soul of Cheesebridge.”
I wonder if this trailer will play in theaters… because I doubt religious bigots would appreciate it, LoL!

RIDE ALONG
Plot:
“Fast-talking security guard Ben joins his cop brother-in-law James on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta in order to prove himself worthy of marrying Angela, James’ sister.”
I don’t like Ice Cube that much, but Kevin Hart is a funny actor, so I guess I’ll check the film when it comes out.

We’ve got our hands on a new series of promo pictures for The Wolverine, aka Wolverine 2, the upcoming superhero action movie starring Australian Actor Hugh Jackman:
Take a look to the first official promo poster of The Walking Dead Season 4:
(Click on the poster to enlarge.)
From left to right you may recognize Chad L. Coleman as Tyreese, Andrew Lincoln as Rick, Norman Reedus as Daryl, Chandler Riggs as Carl, and Danai Gurira as Michonne.
There are also quite many zombies on this poster, and it sounds like it’s an omen of things to come:
“We are going to amp up the threat of the walkers, because they’ve started to seem like a manageable threat. They are not a manageable threat.”
Executive Producer Gale Ann Hurd
More zombies! Hell yeah!
The Walking Dead will return for Season 4 on AMC this October.
