Two new posters of The Croods, the upcoming adventure animated movie from Dreamworks Animation:

(Click on a poster to enlarge.)

Plot:
“The world’s very first prehistoric family goes on a road trip to an uncharted and fantastical world.”

Are you better off now than you were four million years ago? Anyway, the girl on the character is Eep, a teenage rebel. Here’s the official description of her character:

“My name is Eep, and I’m 19 summers old. I like to run, jump, and chase mammoths. Any chance I get, I like to lie in the sun. I guess because my family and I live in a cave. We’re the last cave in Crood Canyon… actually, we’re the only cave in Crood Canyon. I don’t get out much, probably because there’s a lot of stuff outside that wants to eat us. All that time inside doesn’t really interfere with my dating life because there aren’t any boys to date. The last dateable one was eaten a few years ago. I can’t complain though, because complaining hasn’t been invented yet.”

J.J. Abrams Star Wars 7

Director J.J. Abrams (the man behind blockbusters like Cloverfield, Mission Impossible 3, Super 8 and wrote and produced countless of other awesome movies and TV shows) has been hired to helm Star Wars 7!

Star Wars Episode 7 – J.J. Abrams is George Lucas’ new padawan!
Plot:
“The film is supposed to be a sequel to Star Wars Episode 6 and would bring the Skywalker family to the fore (featuring appearances of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher as they reprise their respective roles) and introduce a new generation of heroes.”

I do dig what J.J. Abrams did with the Star Trek franchise, so I’m glad to hear that he’s now taking over the Star Wars franchise too.

But what about you? Do you approve Disney’s choice? Is J.J. Abrams the right director to helm Star Wars Episode VII? Share your thoughts below!
