Things heat up a bit when Lado (Benicio Del Toro), is sent by a Mexican Cartel boss (Salma Hayek) to get the two chums to work for her. They’re not having any of it however, and when they decline to take part in the scheme, the cartel kidnaps O. The pot growers then plan to get their own back by cheekily using the crime group’s own shipments to pay the ransom.”

Why are they postponing the release of GI Joe 2? Well, Paramount wants to convert the film to 3D. And they also hope to avoid the competition from superhero movies.

So yep, GI Joe 2 Retaliation will hit theaters on March 29, 2013. How sad!
