Rec 3 Movie

Filmax is planning two new Rec movies, the third film is titled Rec 3 Genesis. Here’s a first teaser poster of Rec 3:

Rec 3 Trailer

Rec 3 Genesis movie

The film won’t be a sequel to the two previous Rec movies, but rather a prequel that will focus on the origins of the zombie “virus”. I guess the story will revolve around the possessed girl from the attic and the priest who tried to find a cure. So does that there’s no shaky cam in Rec 3? Well, not sure, they could indeed use “found footage” filmed with one of those old hand-held super 8 cameras.

Tree of Life Movie Trailer

Tree of Life MovieA bootleg of the movie trailer of Tree of Life which is currently shown in front of Black Swan has leaked online, you may watch it below:

TREE OF LIFE
Plot:
“At the end of the 1960’s in Texas, Jack O’Brien (Sean Penn), the the eldest of three brothers, just lost his younger brother. And he remembers his childhood. The Tree of life traces the evolution of an eleven-year-old boy in the Midwest. At first all seems marvelous to the child. He sees as his mother (Jessica Chastain) does, with the eyes of his soul. She represents the way of love and mercy, where the father (Brad Pitt) tries to teach his son the world’s way, of putting oneself first. Each parent contends for his allegiance, and Jack must reconcile their claims. The picture darkens as he has his first glimpses of sickness, suffering and death. The world, once a thing of glory, becomes a labyrinth.
Framing this story is that of adult Jack, a lost soul in a modern world, seeking to discover amid the changing scenes of time that which does not change: the eternal scheme of which we are a part. When he sees all that has gone into our world’s preparation, each thing appears a miracle — precious, incomparable. Jack, with his new understanding, is able to forgive his father and take his first steps on the path of life.”

The Tree of Life is directed by Terrence Malick and starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn. The film will be released in theaters on May 27, 2011.

Beaver Movie Trailer

Trailer of The BeaverSummit Entertainment has released the first movie trailer of The Beaver, the upcoming drama comedy movie starring Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, Anton Yelchin, Jennifer Lawrence, and Cherry Jones:

The Beaver Trailer

THE BEAVER

He’s here to save Walter’s life.

Plot:
“Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track…until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.”

The Beaver movie is touted as an emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life. I think the description is right: it does look like an emotional journey. I’m impatient to watch this movie and Mel Gibson’s amazing performance.
