The Vow is an upcoming romantic drama movie starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. It’s the story of a newlywed couple who’s coping’s with the wife’s amnesia following a car crash. The film is directed by Michael Sucsy based on the real-life story of New Mexico couple Kim and Krickitt Carpenter.

Dwayne Johnson is taking over the role of the dominant male figure in the upcoming movie sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth. Brendan Fraser isn’t indeed reprising his role… But Josh Hutcherson, the kid from the first film, will be back: not as a kid though, he’s now a young man.

The sequel is titled Journey To The Mysterious Island.

Plot:
“Dwayne Johnson will play the boyfriend of Josh Hutcherson’s mom, who Hutcherson is forced to bring on a trip to a mythical and monstrous island to find his missing grandfather. The script is loosely based on Jules Verne’s The Mysterious Island.”

Journey 2 will be directed by Brad Peyton. It should hit theaters in 2011.

Here’s the movie trailer of Repeaters, an upcoming sci-fi movie that should premiere at the TIFF:

Plot:
“A gritty mind-bending thriller about three twenty-somethings – Sonia, Kyle, Weeks – who find themselves stuck in an impossible time labyrinth, where each day they awaken to the same terrifying day as before.”

Directed by Canadian Filmmaker Carl Bessai, the film is starring Dustin Milligan, Amanda Crew, Richard de Klerk. There’s no official release date yet.

Director Jonathan Liebesman (who helmed the Killing Room and Battle Los Angeles) has been hired by Warner Bros to helm the movie sequel to Clash of the Titans.
