Letters to Juliet is an upcoming romantic drama movie directed by Gary Winick and based on the book written by based on the novel written by Lise and Ceil Friedman. The film is starring Amanda Seyfried (who plays in Mamma Mia! and Jennifer’s Body), Gael Garcia Bernal, Vanessa Redgrave, and Christopher Egan. It will be released on May 7, 2010.

Plot:
“An American girl on vacation in Italy finds an unanswered ‘letter to Juliet’ — one of thousands of missives left at the fictional lover’s Verona courtyard, which are typically answered by a the ‘secretaries of Juliet’ — and she goes on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter.”
The plot of Letters to Juliet is kind of generic. But maybe the goal is not to tell an edifying story, I actually suspect the movie Letters to Juliet to be a shameless promotion for the beautiful landscapes of Italy where the film takes place. Because now I want to book a flight ticket to go there!

A new creepy trailer of Season of the Witch has shown up online. Season of the Witch is a fantasy horror movie set in the Middle Age, it’s directed by Dominic Sena and starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, and Claire Foy:

I was already hooked by the story of Season of the Witch. And now after watching this new trailer of Season of the Witch, I’m definitely impatient to watch the movie: Hollywood should bring more of those fantasy movies set in the Middle Age!
Anyway, the movie Season of the Witch will hit theaters on March 19, 2010.

Scriptwriter John Hlavin, who worked on the TV Series The Shield, has been hired to pen the screenplay of Underworld 4. Here’s what he said about the plot of Underworld 4:
“I can tell you it’s not a prequel. It will satisfy old fans and excite new audiences, meaning that we don’t want to redo the first three movies, so steps are being taken to honor what fans have loved but at the same time introduce fresh elements.”

So if it’s neither a prequel nor a reboot, then we may expect a normal sequel that pick up where the story left in Underworld 2. Anyway, more plot details of Underworld will probably leak online sooner or later.

There is a new featurette for Avatar, the latest movie directed by James Cameron. This new Avatar featurette is focusing on the technologies seen in the movie:

Why creating a blood substitute would be so hard? I mean if the world population has been transformed into vampires, then it would make more sense to devote all available resources to develop a substitute… Immortality is a rather interesting side-effect of the vampire virus after all!

We finally know when the final of Lost is going to premiere: the premiere of Lost Season 6 will be on on Tuesday, February 2 2010! We still haven’t really figured out what’s going to happen in Lost Season 6, which is quite a feat knowing all the spoilers that leaked online.
The final episode of Lost Season 6 will air on May 25, 2010. Hard to think about one’s TV life following the end of Lost!

Movies about “rebellious” young people are usually boring unless there is something like vampirism added to the mix… But the movie Remember Me can boast an impressive cast with Robert Pattinson, Pierce Brosnan and Emilie de Ravin. And because I do appreciate those actors I am kind of impatient to watch Remember Me.

That alien (Zoe Saldana) is sexy enough to turn Jack Sully (Sam Worthington) into a traitor to Mankind: he will teach to those damn aliens how to kill Human marines… Not exactly the kind of hero I want to praise, even if the movie does look good…
