A movie sequel to 30 Days of Night 2 is being filmed! 30 Days of Night 2, aka 30 Days of Night Dark Days, is directed by Ben Ketai and based on a script co-written by Steve Niles and Ben Ketai. Melissa George isn’t reprising her role as Stella Olesonthe, she’s replaced by Kiele Sanchez. Are also starring: Rhys Coiro, Mia Kirshner, Harold Perrineau, Diora Baird, Rhys Coiro, Monique Ganderton, Marco Sorian, and Katherine Isabelle. The movie 30 Days of Night 2 will be released in 2010.

Plot:
“It’s been a year since the Alaskan town of Barrow’s population was decimated by vampires during its annual month long sunset. Riddled with grief over the death of her husband, bound by nightmares and void of all emotions beyond hate and sorrow, Stella (Sanchez) has spent the past months traveling the world, trying to convince others that vampires exist. Met with skepticism and laughter, Stella is ready to throw in the towel when a group of lost souls (Coiro, Baird and Perrineau) offers an incredible opportunity: the chance to exact revenge upon Lilith (Kirshner), the vampire queen responsible for the assault on her sleepy Alaskan town. A bit sad that David Slade (who’s busy with Eclipse) is not helming this 30 Days of Night sequel. But the scriptwriters are the same, so we may hope that 30 Days of Night 2 will be faithful to the spirit of the first movie.

The Yellow Handkerchief is an upcoming romantic drama movie directed by Udayan Prasad. It is starring Kristen Stewart, Eddie Redmayne, William Hurt and Maria Bello. The film is set for a limited release on on February 12, 2010.

The Yellow Handkerchief is a human movie about real people and about their emotions, it’s a road movie about life!

For those who are wondering: The Yellow Handkerchief was filmed in 2007, before the twilight mania boosted Kristen Stewart’s movie career. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008, and is now getting an official release.
