Director Mike Newel has been working on Prince of Persia the movie adaptation of the famous game franchise of the name. Here’s the Prince of Persia trailer:
Plot:
“Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a street urchin in 6th century Persia. After showing valor in battle, he is adopted by the king as his heir, so the king’s two sons will not fight over the throne.[1] He teams up with Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to rescue the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that controls time, from the hands of the villainous nobleman, Nizam (Ben Kingsley).”
Jake Gyllenhaal looks ab it too clean as Dastan, but I don’t mind anymore after seeing this movie trailer of Prince of Persia The Sands of Time!
Jordan Mechner, the creator of the game, who wrote the script of the film, must be be really happy to see how good the movie Prince of Persia is.

Dreamworks is working on Oobermind, an upcoming 3D animated movie directed by Tom McGrath (who once brought us Madagascar and its sequel). The story revolves around a supervillain who unwillingly becomes the new acclaimed hero. The film will be released on November 5, 2010.

Supervillains and mad scientists usually have a more interesting background than the heroes. So I ‘m quite glad that Dreamworks if producing Oobermind! I hope that Oobermind got this crazy freaky laugh, that only a movie villain can make: muhaha!

The plot of The Resident could be based on a true story: the world is full of freaks! Just a few months ago, I heard about a landlord who rigged a hidden camera in the bedroom of a teenage tenant… But it’s even worse in the movie because the landlord dares to enter in the house! Creepy! Such stories can but convince people to support the NRA!

Aisha is described as the loose cannon among the Losers. She is identified by her eyebrow piercing and tied-back hair. She may look cute but she’s no little girl: she’s a walking weapon, expert in all combat skills, and she prefers to leave corpses rather than survivors when she engages the enemy!
Sounds like there is going to be some real action for Zoe Saldana in the Losers movie!

Love in an upcoming sci-fi movie directed by William Eubank. The film is inspired by the upcoming album of the same name by the alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves.The release date is said to be Valentine’s Day, 2010, (February 14, 2010).

I haven’t heard of this movie before seeing the trailer today, and I’m quite hooked now! I’m totally thrilled by this kind of movies. It kind of feels like Richard Kelly’s Donnie Darko and Steven Soderbergh’s Solaris, but the whole thing boosted with the music of Angels & Airwaves.
