MISS ARIZONA

One night to take the crown and take back their lives!

“Rose Raynes (Johanna Braddy) was crowned Miss Arizona – 15 years ago. Now a bored housewife trapped in a less-than-ideal marriage, and mourning the independence of her 10-year-old son, Rose accepts an invitation to teach a life skills class at a women’s shelter.
Digging out the relics of her pageant queen past, Rose attempts to share her ‘Making Your Presence a Present’ platform speech with a room of four disinterested women dodging abusive exes. But when trouble shows up at the shelter, what the women really need is for Rose’s shiny SUV to get them out of dodge.
The five embark on an all-night adventure through L.A.’s darkest streets and wildest drag club as the women fight to survive, and in so doing, discover what they need most.
This one’s an anthem for any woman who’s ever been told to sit still and look pretty.
This one’s for the marginalized. This one’s for the girls.”

Brothers’ Nest Movie Poster
BROTHER’S NEST

A family that kills together, stays together.

Plot synopsis:
“On a cold morning in country Victoria, two brothers arrive at the family home intent on murdering their step-father Roger (Kim Gyngell). Terry (Shane Jacobson) and Jeff (Clayton Jacobson)’s motive is simple, killing their step-dad will render their dying Mother (Lynette Curran)’s plan to change her will in his favor, redundant. The staged ‘suicide’ has been meticulously planned but there is one thing the boys didn’t take into account, spending an entire day together. Old grudges, different worldviews and a general troubled history will pit these two brothers against each other and by the end of the day three people will be dead. ‘Brothers’ Nest’ is the very blackest of comedies about family, loyalty and murder–cos after all ‘blood is thicker than water’.”

Murder is a crime though…
