We heard about a possible live-action movie adaptation of M.A.S.K. a few years ago, but the project fell on the wayside. Well that is until now. Director F. Gary Gray (who helmed Fast and Furious 8 aka The Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton, and Law Abiding Citizen) has indeed been hired to helm the film!

Plot synopsis:
“Matt Trakker leads a team of elite special agents called M.A.S.K., each member specializing in a particular skill and is equipped with a unique, high-tech helmet. They have been brought together to stop Miles Mayhem and his terrorist organization known as V.E.N.O.M. Both teams pilot state-of-the-art machines which look like regular passenger vehicles, but can convert into an aresenal of mobile assault weapons.”
