Emily Blunt Mary Poppins 2

Mary Poppins (portrayed by Actress Emily Blunt) is gracing the cover the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly to promote Mary Poppins 2 aka Mary Poppins Returns, the upcoming family fantasy comedy movie sequel directed by Rob Marshall, take a look below:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Mary Poppins 2

Plot synopsis:
“Mary Poppins Returns is set in 1930s depression-era London (the time period of the original novels) and is drawn from the wealth of material in PL Travers’ additional seven books. In the story, Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane (Emily Mortimer) are now grown up, with Michael, his three children and their housekeeper, Ellen (Julie Walters), living on Cherry Tree Lane. After Michael suffers a personal loss, the enigmatic nanny Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) re-enters the lives of the Banks family, and, along with the optimistic street lamplighter Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda), uses her unique magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives. Mary Poppins also introduces the children to a new assortment of colorful and whimsical characters, including her eccentric cousin, Topsy (Meryl Streep).”

Well, Emily Blunt’s Mary Poppins isn’t as pretty as Julie Andrews’s Mary Poppins, but she still looks the part I guess… What do you think?

First Kill Movie 2017We’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of First Kill, the upcoming action thriller movie directed by Steven C. Miller and starring Bruce Willis, Hayden Christensen, Gethin Anthony, Megan Leonard, and Ty Shelton:

FIRST KILL

When you have one shot, don’t miss!

While Will and Danny are hunting, their trip takes a deadly turn when they witness the murder of a crooked police officer as a bank robbery goes awry. When Danny is taken hostage by the criminals, Will is forced to help them evade the police chief (Bruce Willis) investigating the murder and recover the stolen money in exchange for his son’s life.”

Well, that bank robber is but a kidnapper. So I say Hayden Christensen should team up Bruce Willis: just share the money and kill the robber/kidnapper and his accomplices!

Deftly blending genres, humor, poignancy and drama, Bong Joon Ho (Snowpiercer, The Host) begins with the gentlest of premises-the bond between man and animal-and ultimately creates a distinct and layered vision of the world that addresses the animal inside us all.”
