Plot synopsis:
“When Stevie D (Chris Cordone), only son of LA construction magnate, Angelo DiMarco (John Aprea), accidentally kills a connected man, Angelo is left with few options. Working with his confidant, Lenny (Kevin Chapman), the two devise a plan to send the wayward son into hiding while an unknown, look-alike actor is hired to fill his shoes and unknowingly take the hit.
The actor, Michael Rose (also Cordone), is down on his luck and heading nowhere fast. As Stevie D, he becomes immersed in a totally new life. Soon, he is winning people over in ways that surprise Angelo and Lenny – and make their lives more complicated. He has also fallen in love with Daria Laurentis (Torrey DeVitto), the daughter of Angelo’s lawyer (Spencer Garrett), and the two must find ways to hide their illicit romance.
All the while, the real Stevie D is in hiding, slowly realizing that the imposter is living his life better than he did. But the reckoning is still to come, as Stevie D is a hunted man, and there may not be a way out in time to save Michael. ”

Plot synopsis:
“Roxane Coss (Julianne Moore), a famous American soprano, travels to a military dictatorship in South America to give a private concert at the birthday party of rich Japanese industrialist Katsumi Hosokawa (Ken Watanabe). The house is taken over by guerrillas, led by General Benjamin (Demian Bichir), demanding the release of their imprisoned comrades. A monthlong standoff ensues in which hostages and captors must overcome their differences and find their shared humanity in the face of impending disaster.”

I haven’t read the novel the film is based on, but since Ken Watanabe and Julianne Moore are part of the cast am kind of impatient to see the film.

The film has yet to get an official release date, most likely sometime in 2018.

Plot synopsis:
“Calicut, India, 1548. 12-year-old Amal is thrown off his family’s elephant Soliman and injured. His parents, the most respected spice traders of the town, sell the elephant to Portuguese prince Cortez, who wants to impress Princess Katrina of Austria. But the elephant panics and smashes everything to pieces while being loaded onto the ship. Hiding in a barrel, Amal is heaved aboard and becomes a stowaway with Soliman, sailing for Europe.
Prince Cortez wants to stuff Soliman as a trophy and win the heart of Princess Katrina, a guest at the Portuguese court. Katrina, however, doesn‘t want to get married. And she doesn‘t like stuffed elephants either. Together with her faithful companion, pug Franz, she decides to escape from her golden cage and save the elephant. Perfect timing, because Amal and Soliman are running out of time.
But their escape does not remain unnoticed for long. Boiling with rage, Cortez wants his princess and his elephant back, chasing our heroes across the Spanish desert, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Alps. After our unequal heroes manage to flee, an adventurous journey begins.”
