Well, this trailer of Ben-Hur was rather underwhelming. It doesn’t look bad, but since they’re doing a remake of an iconic movie, one would expect some really fresh new take on Ben-Hur and not just a modern rehash…

Anyway, the whole thing will be entertaining, I guess…

I’ve just spotted this teaser poster of The Birth of a Nation, the upcoming period drama movie written and directed by Nate Parker about the real-life story of Nat Turner, an African-American slave who led a slave rebellion in Virginia in 1831:
