Incarnate movie starring Aaron Eckhart

Take a look to the first official picture of Actor Aaron Eckhart in Incarnate, the upcoming supernatural horror thriller movie directed by Brad Peyton (who helmed San Andreas) based on a script by Ronnie Christensen:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Plot:
“Confined to a wheelchair after a horrific accident, Dr. Seth Ember (Aaron Eckhart) is an ‘Incarnate’ — gifted with the rare ability to delve into the minds of possessed people in order to exorcise their demons from the inside out. When the Vatican enlists him to exorcise a particularly troubled young boy, Ember is shocked to discover inside him the same evil spirit responsible for the death of his wife and child years before. Now, with the young boy’s life in his hands and his own personal redemption at stake, Ember desperately searches for a way to destroy the demon before it kills him and unleashes its terror upon the world…”

An exorcist in a wheelchair? What’s next? An exorcist who suffers from tetraplegia? Anyway, am willing to give the film a try since it’s starring Aaron Eckhart.

Besides Aaron Eckhart, the cast also includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, David Mazouz (yep, the boy who plays the role of Bruce Wayne in the TV series Gotham), Carice van Houten, Keir O’Donnell, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Karolina Wydra, Matt Nable, Emjay Anthony, and Mark Henry.

The film has yet to get an official release date.

Desierto Movie

We’ve got our hands on a first official picture of Desierto, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Jonas Cuaron (who brought us Gravity) based on a script he co-wrote with Mateo garcia:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Plot:
“Moises (Gael García Bernal) travels with a group of immigrants through an unguarded, hellish section of the Sonoran desert trying to cross into the United States, when suddenly, a shot rings out- they fall into the sight of Sam (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a deranged vigilante who is taking border laws into his own hands, shooting off the immigrants one by one. A sinister cat and mouse chase begins, set against the backdrop of this brutal yet beautiful landscape, and Moises must find a way to outwit his hunter in order to survive and not become another victim of this forsaken land.”

Do you bet on Gael García Bernal or Jeffrey Dean Morgan (who’s been cast to play the role of the villain Negan in the Walking dead TV series by the way!)? Who’s going to win the game?

More pictures from the film in this interview with the crew:

Southside With You Movie – When Barack Obama met Michelle!

Here’s a first official look at Parker Sawyers as Barack Obama and Tika Sumpter as Michelle Robinson in Southside With You, the upcoming biography romantic drama movie written and directed by Richard Tanne:

(Click on a picture to enlarge.)

Plot:
“A delicate and charming romantic journey, inspired by romantic classics such as Before Sunrise, SOUTHSIDE WITH YOU tells the story of Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date. In the summer of 1989 Michelle and Barack were simply two fresh-faced college graduates starting their lives and their law careers in Chicago. After much prodding from Barack, Michelle finally agrees to attend a community meeting with him in Chicago’s South Side neighborhood as friends. What starts as a platonic day out – ends with a kiss and the beginning of a journey to the White House.”

Well, Actress Tika Sumpter does look like Michelle Obama. But I don’t see Barack Obama in Parker Sawyers… Do you?

SING

Auditions begin 2016.

From the creators of Despicable Me

Plot:
“Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, ‘Sing’ stars Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal optimist—okay, maybe a bit of a scoundrel—who loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Now facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.
Five lead contestants emerge: A mouse (Seth MacFarlane) who croons as smoothly as he cons, a timid teenage elephant (Tori Kelly) with an enormous case of stage fright, an overtaxed mother (Reese Witherspoon) run ragged tending a litter of 25 piglets, a young gangster gorilla (Taron Egerton) looking to break free of his family’s felonies, and a punk-rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson) struggling to shed her arrogant boyfriend and go solo. Each animal arrives under Buster’s marquee believing that this is their shot to change the course of their life.”

And here’s a look at the main characters:

VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS

Plot:
“Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian has more in mind than a professional relationship with his partner- blatantly chasing after her with propositions of romance. But his extensive history with women, and her traditional values, drive Laureline to continuously rebuff him. Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time- uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger.”

Luc Besson, who now heads Europacorp, previously brought us The Big Blue, Nikita, Leon, The Fifth Element, and Lucy. So there’s reason to hope that Valerian will a hell of an epic movie!
