Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we may take a look to a new picture The Free State of Jones, the upcoming drama thriller movie written and directed by Gary Ross and starring Matthew McConaughey:

Plot synopsis:
“As civil war divides the nation, Newton Knight (Matthew McConaughey), a poor farmer from Mississippi, leads a group of rebels against the Confederate army.”

Are you wondering about that ugly thing around the black chap’s neck? Well, this horrible invention is an iron collar created to punish and hinder slaves from running away…

Fortunately the chap on this picture, Moses Washington (played by Mahershala Ali), did manage to escape and I hope his new friends will help him get rid of it.

The film will be released on May 13, 2016.

Ben Affleck and Anna kendrick are crunching numbers on this new picture of The Accountant, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Gavin O’Connor:

Trivia: I heard that Anna Kendrick’s mother is an actual accountant!

This new picture of Finding Dory, the upcoming animated adventure family movie sequel to Finding Nemo, is introducing Bailey the beluga whale and Destiny the whale shark:

Plot synopsis:
“Set six months after the first film ends, Finding Dory sees the forgetful blue tang (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) on a mission to find her long-lost parents. Along the way, she visits the rehabilitation center at marine life facility where she meets the snub-nosed beluga whale Bailey (voiced by Ty Burrell) and his pal Destiny, a sweet whale shark (voiced by Kaitlin Olson).”

They didn’t respect real-life proportions: a beluga whale or a whale shark are way bigger than a tang fish. But it makes animation more fluid and easier to follow I guess.

Here’s a first official look at Actress Emily Blunt in The Girl on the Train, the upcoming psychological thriller movie directed by Tate Taylor based on the 2015 novel of the same name written by Paula Hawkins:

“The film follows the story of a woman named Rachel (Emily Blunt), who goes on a train to London. She witnesses the ‘perfect’ couple. Scott (Luke Evans) and Megan (Haley Bennett). But one day, havoc ensues this couple, and Rachel becomes involved in their drama/ murder mystery of Megan Hipwell.”

Emily Blunt who’s usually so pretty looks like a lost and lonely soul on those pictures.

Besides Emily blunt, the cast also includes Justin Theroux, Rebecca Ferguson, Edgar Ramirez, Haley Bennett, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, and Lisa Kudrow.

There’s a first official picture for The Conjuring 2 The Enfield Poltergeist, the upcoming horror movie sequel directed by James Wan based on a script by Chad and Carey Hayes:

They’re looking for patient zero, all right, but maybe they should also dig into why Morgan is asymptomatic, it could lead to a cure too.

Anyway, sign me up for this new zombie movie!

There’s a fourth Men in Black movie in development, yet you may get ready for Men in Black 4. Nothing about the film has been revealed yet though. All we know is that one of the main characters of the fourth installment will be a woman:

There will be a prominent woman in black in the fourth film.

Co-Producer Walter Parkes also hinted that Actor Will Smith will likely reprise his role as Agent J.

They also said that they want to reinvent the franchise. So I guess they will explore new concepts beyond the main alien-border-control theme. But does that mean it could be a reboot with the franchise actually focusing on this new female agent rather than on Agent J?

Jason, the Red Ranger (Dacre Montgomery) was a football legend in his small town of Angel Grove until one fateful mistake. But soon he is given a chance to lead a new team made up of an unlikely group of teenage superheroes and must find it in himself to rise to the challenge.

Billy has never really had any friends, so finding teenagers that he is comfortable with is a big deal, and soon he begins connecting with people in a way he’s never been able to do before.

Pitch Perfect 2, the recent sequel to Pitch Perfect, performed quite well in theaters. It made $287 million worldwide, doubling the first film’s total, for a $29 million production budget. So there’s no wondering that they’re already planning another installment in the girly franchise. So yep get ready for Pitch Perfect 3!

Actress/Director Elizabeth Banks will return to helm the film, Scriptwriter Kay Cannon is also back. And so will Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, and Hailee Steinfeld.

We’ve been sent the first official picture of Besties, the upcoming comedy movie written and directed by Kelly Fremon and starring Hailee Steinfeld:

Here’s a first official look at James Franco in The Adderall Diaries, the upcoming crime-thriller movie written and directed by Pamela Romanowsky based on the book of the same name by Stephen Elliott:

Amber heard is really cute on that picture, but James Franco looks like a famish toad…

Anyway, for those who don’t know what Adderall is, here’s a description from Wikipedia:

Adderall is prescribed in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It is also used as an athletic performance and cognitive enhancer, and recreationally as an aphrodisiac and euphoriant.
