Steve Jobs TV Spot

There’s a new intense TV spot for Steve Jobs, the upcoming biography drama movie starring Michael Fassbender:

STEVE JOBS
Plot:
“His passion and ingenuity have been the driving force behind the digital age. However his drive to revolutionize technology was sacrificial. Ultimately it affected his family life and possibly his health. In this revealing film we explore the trials and triumphs of a modern day genius, the late CEO of Apple inc. Steven Paul Jobs.”

Steve Jobs was a flawed man, but he still managed to mesmerize the world with his overpriced whitish gadgets.

The film will be released on October 9, 2015.

Trailer of Room starring Brie Larson

Check out this new moving trailer of Room, the upcoming drama movie directed by Lenny Abrahamson and starring Brie Larson:

ROOM
Plot:
“This drama tells the extraordinary story of Jack, a spirited 5 year-old who is looked after by his loving and devoted Ma. Like any good mother, Ma dedicates herself to keeping Jack happy and safe, nurturing him with warmth and love and doing typical things like playing games and telling stories. However, they are trapped in a windowless, 10-by-10-foot space, which Ma has euphemistically named “Room.” As Jack’s curiosity about their situation grows, and Ma’s resilience reaches its breaking point, they enact a risky plan to escape, ultimately bringing them face-to-face with what may turn out to be the scariest thing yet: the real world.”

The trailer may give away the whole story, but I still feel like seeing the full movie because there’s here a compelling story and convincing acting.

Besides Brie Larson the cast also includes Jacob Tremblay, William H. Macy, Joan Allen, and Sean Bridgers.

The film will be released on October 16, 2015.

Let’s watch the first official trailer of Krampus, the upcoming horror comedy movie directed by Michael Dougherty and starring Adam Scott, Toni Collette, Emjay Anthony, David Koechner, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Stefania Lavie Owen, and Krista Stadler:

KRAMPUS

Everyone loves the holidays…

But one family has lost the Christmas spirit.

Based on the ancient legend.

He sees you when you’re sleeping.
He knows when you’re awake.
He knows if you have been bad or good.

So be good for goodness sake!

Plot:
“When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.
All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.”

Krampus or Santa Claus: who would you rather meet this Christmas?

THE GAMECHANGERS
Plot:
“The film is the tale of one of the most controversial video games of all time. It tells the story of how British game designers pushed boundaries into uncharted territory, of how those fighting GTA became consumed by a battle which overwhelmed their lives, and how the subsequent fallout threatened to bring down leading players on both sides.”

Have you ever played GTA? Is it any good? I must admit I still haven’t…

The film will air September 15 on BBC2 in the U.K.

Demolition Movie Trailer

You may watch below the official trailer of Demolition, the upcoming drama movie directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Naomi Watts, Chris Cooper, Heather Lind, and Judah Lewis:

DEMOLITION
Plot:
“A successful investment banker, Davis (Jake Gyllenhaal), struggles after losing his wife in a tragic car crash. Despite pressure from his father-in-law (Chris Cooper) to pull it together, Davis continues to unravel. What starts as a complaint letter to a vending machine company turns into a series of letters revealing startling personal admissions. Davis’ letters catch the attention of customer service rep Karen (Naomi Watts) and, amidst emotional and financial burdens of her own, the two strangers form an unlikely connection. With the help of Karen and her son (Judah Lewis), Davis starts to rebuild, beginning with the demolition of the life he once knew.”

Looks like we have a quite interesting story here! And I love Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance, altough at times it feels like he’s serving us the ghost of Louis Bloom, the character he played in Nightcrawler.

The release date of Demolition is set to April 8, 2016.
