LAZER TEAM

Mankind’s darkest hour needs our brightest team.

Plot:
“LAZER TEAM begins decades ago when the Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence project received a onetime signal from outer space, which was never decoded. Or so we were told. Unbeknownst to the general public, the secretly translated signal said two things: One, we are not alone, and two, the galaxy is a dangerous place. Working in total secrecy, the US government has been training a single Champion of Earth – a warrior of incredible skill to don a suit of unimaginable power designed by new alien allies in preparation for Earth’s battle for survival against an evil race of aliens. Unfortunately, the suit never made it all the way to its intended destination. Instead of a lone savior, four hapless idiots find the suit and are thrust into the role of heroes as the titular Lazer Team.”

James Bond Spectre Song

Thanks to VEVO here’s the official music video of the theme song of James Bond Spectre, the upcoming spy movie starring Daniel Craig as Agent 007:

James Bond Spectre – Theme song – “Writing’s On The Wall” by Sam Smith
Plot:
“A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

Why such a whiny song for James Bond? I don’t understand… Even a James Bond starring Vladimir Putin’s lookalike doesn’t deserve such a sappy and bland song…

Anyway, what do you this melodramatic theme song? Share your thoughts below!

The film will hit theaters on November 6, 2015.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Movie

Actor Eddie Redmayne got the lead role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the new spin-off from the Harry Potter series. The film will be the first of a planned trilogy.

Plot synopsis:
“The adventures of writer Newt Scamander in 1920’s New York’s secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.”

Director David Yates (who helmed previous Harry Potter movies) is in charge of the project.

Beside Eddie Redmayne, the cast also includes:
– Katherine Waterston as Porpentina Goldstein aka Tina,
– Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein,
– Dan Fogler as Jacob,
– Ezra Miller as Credence,
– Samantha Morton as Mary Lou,
– Jenn Murray as Chastity,
– Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty,
– and Colin Farrell as Graves

Character profiles:

Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne)
An eccentric globe-hopping English “magizoologist” wizard who’s far more comfortable around beasts and creatures than he is around other people. Comes to New York on a quest with his case full of magical habitats containing rare and endangered species.

Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein (Katherine Waterston)
An ambitious worker at the Magical Congress of the United States of America (aka MACUSA, the U.S. version of the Ministry of Magic) who meets Newt. Tina is relegated to an office well below her abilities after she stood up for the wrong person. She longs to fight for what’s right.

Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol)
Tina’s younger sister and roommate, a big-hearted free-spirit “legilimens” who can read minds.

Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler)
An optimistic No-Maj (aka Muggle) factory worker/aspiring baker who gets introduced to the wizarding world when he meets Newt. Fun fact: He’s the Harry Potter franchise’s first Muggle main character.

Graves (Colin Farrell)
A powerful auror and the right-hand man of the American wizarding world’s president.

Mary Lou (Samantha Morton)
The narrow-minded leader of the fanatical Second Salemers, a group looking to expose and destroy wizards and witches.

Credence (Ezra Miller)
Perhaps the cast’s most mysterious character. He’s Mary Lou’s troubled adopted son.

The release date of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to November 18, 2016.
And the sequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, should hit theaters on November 16, 2018, followed by the third installment, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3, on November 20, 2020

Transformers 6 Movie, Transformers 7 Movie, and Transformers 8 movie

Brace yourself for at least three more Transformers movies besides Transformers 5! Yep, Stephen J.Davis, President of Hasbro Studios, just confirmed that Transformers 5 is under works but he also announced that Transformers 6, Transformers 7, and Transformers 8 are in the pipeline:

Stephen Davis, Hasbro – MIPJunior 2015

You are going to see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners. In fact we just finished, which some of you may have read, just an incredible experience, we decided we wanted to plot out the next ten years of the Transformers franchise. So we got together in a room over a three month period of time with nine of some of the most creative writers I had ever worked with shepherded by Akiva Goldsman, who many of you may know won an Academy Award for Beautiful Mind and written a bunch of really great movies, and they plotted out the next ten years of Transformers. Similarly, we are doing the same in television and in digital. So stay tuned. Transformers 5 is on its way… and Transformers 6 and Transformers 7 and 8.

Stephen J.Davis, President of Hasbro Studios

Transformers 5 (directed by Michael Bay) is currently listed for a release in 2017 by IMDB. So would Transformers 6 get released in 2020 and transformers 7 in 2023, then Transformers 8 in 2026?

Will Director Michael Bay come back for 6, 7, and 8? Well, I think likely that a new director will take over the franchise, but time will tell.

Anyway, stay tuned with us for more details about those new Transformers movies!
