Stonewall Movie directed by Roland Emmerich

Here’s a first official look at Actor Jeremy Irvine in Stonewall, the upcoming drama movie directed by Roland Emmerich (who is gay) based on a script by Jon Robin Baitz:

Plot:
“A young man’s political awakening and coming of age during the days and weeks leading up to the Stonewall Riots.”

The cast includes Jeremy Irvine, Ron Perlman, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Joey King, Caleb Landry Jones, Matt Craven, Atticus Mitchell, and Mark Camacho.

The film has yet to get an official release date.

For those who haven’t heard about the Stonewall Riots: they were a series of demonstrations by members of the gay community in 1969 following a police raid at the Stonewall Inn (a gay tavern and recreational bar in New York City).
