Thanks to Disney here’s a new trailer of McFarland USA, he upcoming sports drama movie directed by Niki Caro and starring Kevin Costner:

Based on a true story.

They started as a team and ended up a family.

Plot:
“Inspired by the 1987 true story, McFarland, USA follows coach Jim White (Kevin Costner) whose job-hopping leads him to a predominantly Latino high school where he struggles to find common ground until he notices his students exceptional running ability and forms a fledgling team of unlikely runners who bond to build not only a championship cross-country team but an enduring legacy as well.”

Can’t say I like the song of the trailer but am hooked by the story: I’ll go see McFarland USA! And you?

The film is set to open in theaters on February 20, 2015.

I do agree that the original owners of stolen art (or their heirs) should obtain some financial compensation. But whenever a piece of art is already in a public museum, I kind of feel the actual art piece should stay there for the edification of mankind.

Here’s a first official look at Actress Kate Winslet in The Dressmaker, the upcoming drama comedy movie directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse based on the novel by Rosalie Ham:

Her sewing machine is a Singer: my grandmother had one!

The film has yet to get an official release date.
