A first official look at Papi Chulo, the upcoming drama comedy movie written and directed by John Butler and starring Matt Bomer, Alejandro PatiƱo, Elena Campbell-Martinez, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Michael Shepperd, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Shaughn Buchholz, Tom Beyer, Irene White, and Caitlin Kimball:
“When Sean (Matt Bomer), a single TV weatherman living in Los Angeles, is put on gardening leave from work, he quickly realizes that solitude doesnāt exactly suit him. Driving past a hardware store, he spies Ernesto (Alejandro PatiƱo), a middle-aged Latino migrant with a friendly face, and hires him to do some home repairs. Soon, despite the language barrier, the two men develop an unexpected but profound friendship based on the everlasting need for connection.
