Screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski have been hired by 20th Century Fox to pen a screenplay for the movie sequel to Percy Jackson The lightning Thief.
Percy Jackson 2 will be based on the Sea of Monsters, the second book of the series written by Rick Riordan.

damn you were too in love with the book. not all the time you can have a book turn into the movie and follow it word for word. it was still amazing and i have read the whole series and still am repeating it and i say they did perfect
shut up azreal, the 1st one was awesome, although it was a bit kiddish. im sure they wil focus this one more at a teen audience with lots of real blood and more action. plus i hope they get a new director, maybe christopher nolan
even thou the first one didnt have all the thing i wanted to have in it. Im still looking forward to the second film and have been wondering if it was going to be make, cant wait to see it.
Oh I hope they do make it. I agree the first one was a bit kiddish and they left some things out but overall it was awesome!!!
