A fourth Scream movie has been planned. Kevin Williamson the writer of the first two films, and story of the third, is working on the script of Scream 4, if all goes well, he’s even booked for a new Scream trilogy.
We don’t know yet if Director Wes Craven. But that’s likely knowing he’s currently in talk for the job. Besides he once stated:
“It would take it being really as good a script as the first one was, and the pay day reflects what I’ve done for that company.”

So he wants to cash in on the franchise, that’s all right, after all, he directly contributed to its success.
Director Wes Craven may still hesitate, but it’s been confirmed that Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Nev Campbell are reprising their roles in Scream 4!
Filming of Scream 4 should begin in Summer 2010.
