There’s a first official poster for Shovel Buddies, the upcoming drama movie directed by Simon Atkinson and Adam Townley based on a script by Jason Mark Hellerman and starring Bella Thorne, Kian Lawley, Alex Neustaedter, and Anton Starkman:

Plot synopsis:
“Sammy (Phillip Labes) has died of leukemia leaving behind one final wish: ensure his body is buried in his favorite football jersey. Kate (Bella Thorne), Dan (Kian Lawley), Jimmy (Alex Neustaedter) and Jimmy’s little brother Lump (Anton Starkman) join the adventure of a lifetime as they spend one unforgettable night fulfilling their friend’s final request.”

So they’re going to put the shirt on their friend’s corpse? Ugh!

The film has yet to get an official release date.
