A first official picture of Snowpiercer, the upcoming science-fiction thriller movie directed by South-Korean Film Director Bong Joon-ho has shown up online:
“After a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.”

A perpetual-motion engine? An engine that can run indefinitely without any external source of energy? Unlikely in practice because of friction. But I guess we could one day create a machine that comes close to it.
