Take a look to the official poster of Straight Outta Compton, the upcoming biography drama movie directed by F. Gray Gray and starring O’Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Aldis Hodge, Neil Brown Jr., Paul Giamatti, and Alexandra Shipp:
“In the mid-1980s, the streets of Compton, California, were some of the most dangerous in the country. When five young men translated their experiences growing up into brutally honest music that rebelled against abusive authority, they gave an explosive voice to a silenced generation. Following the meteoric rise and fall of N.W.A., Straight Outta Compton tells the astonishing story of how these youngsters revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war.”
And here’s an official red-band trailer of the film:

The police deserves respect for what they do: they’re here for our safety after all. So I can’t say am excited about this movie about a bunch of mindless singing gangstas… I doubt I’ll go see it. And you?
The release date of Straight outta Compton is set to August 14, 2015.
