Plot synopsis:
“The Black Prince is the tragic yet fascinating true story about the last King of the mighty Kingdom of Punjab.
Maharaja Duleep Singh, placed on the Throne at the age of five, died a pauper, alone in a Paris hotel. His life long struggle to regain, his identity, dignity, life and Kingdom, took him across the world, but, he was never allowed to set foot in his own Kingdom by the British. Torn away from his mother and taken to England at the age of fifteen years by the British, who absorbed his kingdom by clever maneuvering and indoctrinated him into Christianity, never accepting his reconversion back into the faith of his birth, Sikhism.”
