Actor James McAvoy has been spotted on the set of The Coldest City, the upcoming spy thriller movie directed by David Leitch from a script by Kurt Johnstad and based on the 2012 graphic novel of the same name by Antony Johnston:
“A high-stakes, global action-thriller that takes place in the city of Berlin in 1989, on the eve of the Berlin Wall’s collapse and the shifting of superpower alliances. Charlize Theron portrays Lorraine Broughton, a top-level spy for MI6, who is dispatched to Berlin to take down a ruthless espionage ring that has just killed an undercover agent for reasons unknown. She is ordered to cooperate with Berlin station chief David Percival (James McAvoy), and the two form an uneasy alliance, unleashing their full arsenal of skills in pursuing a threat that jeopardizes the West’s entire intelligence operation.”
James McAvoy still manage to look handsome with that ugly uniform. How does he do it?
Besides James McAvoy, the cast also includes Charlize Theron, John Goodman, Sofia Boutella, Toby Jones, and Eddie Marsan.
The release of the movie the movie The Coldest City is set to July 28, 2017.
