Here’s a first official look at Actor Idris Elba as Roland Deschain aka The Gunslinger in The Dark Tower, the upcoming fantasy science-fiction western movie directed by Nikolaj Arcel based on the novel by Stephen King:

Plot synopsis:
“Gunslinger Roland Deschain (Idris Elba) roams an Old West-like landscape in search of the dark tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world.”

And Actor Matthew McConaughey plays the role of the main villain, the Man in Black:
