Here’s a first official look at The Death of Stalin, the upcoming drama comedy movie directed by Armando Iannucci from a script he co-wrote with Armando Iannucci, David Schneider, and Ian Martin, based on the graphic novel by Fabien Nury and Thierry Robin:

Plot synopsis:
“Feature adaptation on Fabien-Nury’s acclaimed graphic novel that follows the Soviet dictator’s last days, and depicts the chaos of the regime after his death in 1953 after 30 years of iron-fisted rule over the Soviet Union.”

The cast includes Steve Buscemi, Simon Russell Beale, Paddy Considine, Rupert Friend, Jason Isaacs, Olga Kurylenko, Michael Palin, Andrea Riseborough, Paul Whitehouse, Jeffrey Tambor, and Adrian McLoughlin.
