Take a look to those new character posters of The Great Wall, the upcoming fantasy thriller movie directed by Yimou Zhang and starring Matt Damon as the savior of China and mankind:

Plot synopsis:
“The film tells the story of an elite force making a valiant stand for humanity on the world’s most iconic structure. The first English-language production for Yimou is the largest film ever shot entirely in China.”

You may recognize:

– Matt Damon as William Garin, the battle-scarred warrior making a last stand for humanity upon

– Wang Junkai as The Emperor, facing a kingdom in crisis as an army of monsters collides with the heroes of The Great Wall

– Jing Tian as Commander Lin Mae, the brave warrior leading an army of heroes into battle upon

– and Pedro Pascal as Pero Tovar, the sharp-tongued swordsman doing battle with monsters upon.
