Here’s a first official look at The King’s Daughter, the upcoming action adventure fantasy movie directed by Sean McNamara from a script by Ronald Bass, Barry Berman, Laura Harrington, and James Schamus based on the 1997 novel “The Moon and the Sun” written by Vonda N. McIntyre:
“King Louis XIV’s (Pierce Brosnan) quest for immortality leads him to capture and steal a mermaid’s life force, a move that is further complicated by his illegitimate daughter’s discovery of the creature.”
Pierce Brosnan sure makes for a magnificent king!

Besides Pierce Brosnan, the cast also includes William Hurt, Benjamin Walker, Kaya Scodelario, Bingbing Fan, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Paul Ireland, Pablo Schreiber, Crystal Clarke, Rachel Griffiths, and Virginia Bowers.
The film has yet to get an official release date.
