The Six Dollar Fifty Man is an inspiring 15-minute short-film directed by Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland and starring Oscar Vandy-Connor in the lead role:
THE SIX DOLLAR FIFTY MAN
“Set in a 1970s New Zealand coastal town, the film follows Andy, a gutsy 8 year-old boy who is forced to break out of his make-believe superhero world: he has to confront playground bullies and the headmaster in order to rescue his pride, and his only friend, Mary.”
A compelling story and great acting: this short film is definitely awesome!
And for those who don’t know the TV series hinted at in the short film, here’s the opening of The Six Million Dollar Man:

I liked that :) Thought it was going to leave me sad as these forms of media usually end that way but I came out of it with a smile.
