Adam Sandler and Chris Rock team up (or not) for The Week Of, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Robert Smirgel based on a script he co-wrote with Adam Sandler.

Plot synopsis:
“Adam Sandler and Chris Rock reunite to star in this new Netflix original film about the week leading up to a wedding in which Sandler’s daughter is marrying Rock’s son.”

Besides Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, the cast also includes Steve Buscemi, Rachel Dratch, Ronnie Mund, Patricia Belcher, Noah Robbins, Garry Pastore, Roland Buck III, Liz Larsen, Allison Strong, Maury Ginsberg, Faith Kelly, Andrew Polk, Teddy Coluca, Chloe Himmelman, Jake Lippmann, Scott Eliasoph, Andy Taylor, Kenajuan Bentley, Michael James Levy, Max Chernin, Jorge Luna, Edward Sass, and Griffin Santopietro.

The film has yet to get an official release date.
