Vampire Academy Blood Sisters is an upcoming fantasy adventure movie based on the first book of the young-adult series written Richelle Mead. The film is directed by Mark Waters (who helmed The Spiderwick Chronicles and Mr. Popper’s Penguins) for The Weinstein Company. Actress Zoey Deutch got the lead role as Rosemarie Hathaway aka Rose. Plot “Set in the year 2154, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.”
In the world of Elysium Earth has transformed into a living hell… and Matt Damon is intently going to bring some of that hell to the awesome space station Elysium. Does that make him a savior or a barbarian Vandal?
Plot: “It’s been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.”

OMG! Hiccup lost his left foot! I didn’t notice in the previous trailer, did you? Any idea how he lost his foot? And do you like his prosthesis?

The guardians are Marvel’s equivalent to the Green Lantern Corps from the DC universe.
Movie cast: - Chris Pratt as the human Peter Quill aka Star-Lord - Zoe Saldana as Gamora, a green skinned humanoid - Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, a human resurrected as a green warrior with the sole purpose of killing Thanos - Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser - Michael Rooker as Yondu - Karen Gillan as Nebula - Djimon Hounsou as Korath - Benicio del Toro as The Collector - John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, the leader of Nova Corps - Glenn Close as Nova Prime
From what I heard, Thanos, the alien villain seen in the after-credits scene of The Avengers, will show up in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. According to the online rumor Vin Diesel (Dom from the Fast and Furious franchise) could play the role of Thanos. but take this with a pinch of salt for now…

Thanks to I Am Rogue here’s the video of the conference panel at the comic con:
The release date of Guardians of the Galaxy is set for August 1, 2014. :)
The after-credits scene from the Avengers kind of hinted at Thanos as the next villain in the Avengers movie sequel. But it sounds like there’s been a change of plan (or was the scene actually introducing Thanos as the villain of another movie set in the world of Marvel? Or even as the villain of an ulterior Avengers sequel?): the next Avengers movie is indeed titled Avengers Age of Ultron. Check out the official title logo below:
Plot: “The sequel to Marvel’s The Avengers will pit the superhero team against Ultron, a vicious robot hellbent on conquering the world.”
There’s a comic book series titled Age of Ultron, but the plot is bogged down by too much time-travel complexity. It’s unlikely that the film will be faithful to that storyline, but some elements may be borrowed.
It would be nice if the Avengers 2 could bring Spider-man and Wolverine on board like in the Age of Ultron comic book series. But then would Fox, who owns the movie rights to those characters, allow the crossover?
Anyway what do you think of Marvel’s choice? Is the robot Ultron the right villain for the Avengers 2? Share your thoughts below!
The release date of Age of Ultron is set for May 1, 2015. :)
A new banner poster for Oldboy, the upcoming action drama movie directed by Spike Lee and starring Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sharlto Copley:
(Click on the poster to enlarge.)
Plot: “The story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.”
Would you go crazy if you were locked in solitary confinement for 20 years? And if you were to escape, what would be the first thing you’d do once out?
Plot: “The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows.”
