Trailer of Bad Country starring Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe

Check out the official trailer of Bad Country, an upcoming thriller drama movie directed by Chris Brinker and starring Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe:

BAD COUNTRY
Plot:
“Inspired by real events, BAD COUNTRY is a gritty Louisiana set crime drama. Detective Bud Carter’s investigations lead to the arrest of Jesse Weiland, a contract killer from a criminal syndicate. Weiland, facing life in prison and losing his family, puts his trust in Carter and becomes an informant.”

Judging fromt his trailer, Bad Country should be an interesting movie. I wish we’d see Willem Dafoe more often in movies. He’s a great actor! Matt Dillon is talented too, but not as much as Willem Dafoe.

Here’s the DVD cover:

Besides Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe, the cast also includes Neal McDonough, Amy Smart, and Tom Berenger.

The film will be released straight to DVD and Blu-Ray on March 10, 2014.

4 New Character Posters for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah

Four new character posters for Noah, the upcoming fantasy drama movie directed by Darren Aronofsky (who helmed Black Swan):

Noah Trailer

(Click on a poster to enlarge.)

Plot:
“Subject to divine visions foretelling the end of the world, Noah (Russell Crowe) attempts to tell his people to cease their wickedness and turn from their evil ways and to turn to God before it is too late. No one listens to his warnings, and Noah and his family build an ark to be saved from the Flood that God is bringing on the earth.”

Darren Aronofsky’s Noah will for sure be an epic movie, but I doubt it will likely depart from the biblical take on the myth. But hey, who cares about biblical accuracy as long as God’s genocide of mankind is kept…

Release date: March 28, 2014.

Trailer of The Two Faces Of January starring Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, and Oscar Isaac

You may watch below the official trailer of The Two Faces of January, the upcoming thriller movie directed by Hossein Amini and starring Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, and Oscar Isaac:

THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY
Plot:
“In 1962, the charismatic Chester MacFarland (Viggo Mortensen) and his alluring younger wife Colette (Kirsten Dunst), arrive in Athens by boat via the Corinthian Canal. While sightseeing at the Acropolis they encounter Rydal (Oscar Isaac), a young, Greek-speaking American who is working as a tour guide, scamming tourists on the side. Drawn to Colette’s beauty and impressed by Chester’s wealth and sophistication, Rydal gladly accepts their invitation to dinner. However, all is not as it seems with the MacFarlands and Chester’s affable exterior hides darker secrets.”

Oh God, Viggo Mortensen is getting old! Hard to believe that’s the same man who played the role of Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings movie franchise… Anyway I still like him way more than Oscar Isaac!

Here’s the film poster:

The release date of The Two Faces Of January is set to May 16, 2014.
