We’ve got our hands on a first official picture of Dustin Hoffman as Master Carvelle in Boychoir, the upcoming drama movie directed by François Girard:
(Click on the picture to enlarge.)
Plot: “An orphaned 12-year-old boy is sent to prestigious music school where he struggles to join an elite group of world-class singers. No one expects this rebellious loner to succeed, least of all the school’s relentlessly-tough conductor who wages a battle of wills to bring out the boy’s extraordinary musical gift.”
I don’t think this film will be as violent as Whiplash. And it’s probably a good thing!
The release date of Boychoir is set to March 27, 2015. :)
You may watch below the creepy trailer of Kristy, the upcoming horror movie directed by Oliver Blackburn and starring Ashley Greene:
Plot: “With the rest of the campus home for the Thanksgiving holiday, Justine and a few of her friends spend the weekend in their college dormitory: studying, relaxing and blissfully unaware of the terror that is about to unfold outside in the cold. Suddenly, confronted by a gang of violent outcasts, Justine’s quiet long weekend becomes one long lesson in survival as her and her classmates are terrorized in increasingly bizarre and brutal ways, leaving it up to her to figure out who her attackers are…and if they can be stopped.”

Check out this new international trailer of Whiplash, the upcoming drama movie starring Miles Teller:
Plot: “Andrew Neyman (Miles Teller) is a 19-year-old jazz drummer, dreaming of greatness but unsure if his dream will ever come true. Haunted by the failed writing career of his father (Paul Reiser), Andrew is determined to rise to the top of the country’s most elite music conservatory. One night, Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons), a conductor equally known for his talent for teaching as he is for the terrifying method of his instruction, discovers Andrew practicing the drums. Even though Fletcher says very little to him that night, he ignites in Andrew a passion to achieve his goal. To Andrew’s surprise, the next day, Fletcher requests that he be transferred into his band. This single act changes the young man’s life forever…”
The combination of jazz and torture make for a fascinating movie!
The film is written and directed by Damien Chazelle.
A new international trailer of The Scribbler, the upcoming science-fiction movie directed by John Suits and starring Katie Cassidy, Eliza Dushku, Michael Imperioli, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Sasha Grey:
Plot: “The film follows Suki (Katie Cassidy), a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using “The Siamese Burn,” an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being “cured,” she’s haunted by a thought … what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?”
Have you ever met someone with multiple personalities?
