X-Men Days of Future Past Trailer

X-Men Days of Future Past – Opening battle
Plot:
“The X-Men send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.”

They have all those superpowers and they can’t stop a bunch of robots… OK those sentinels are high-tech robots, they aren’t stupid Aibos (Sony’s robotic pets)… Well, maybe time for those mutants to give up then and to let the robots take over the world…

In theaters: May 23, 2014.

A new promo video for The Giver, the upcoming science-fiction drama movie directed by Phillip Noyce based on the novel of the same name written by Lois Lowry:

The Giver – What lies beyond.
Plot:
“The haunting story of THE GIVER centers on Jonas, who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory does he begin to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community.”

You may remember that the first trailer was released mid-March, and I’ve now read the book. Well, the story was mostly great, the ending was a bit weak though…

Anyway am impatient to see the movie adaptation!

The film is starring Jeff Bridges and Brenton Thwaites.

In theaters: August 15, 2014.

Plot:
“The Weiss family is the archetypical Hollywood dynasty: father Stafford (John Cusack) is an analyst and coach, who has made a fortune with his self-help manuals; mother Christina (Olivia Williams) mostly looks after the career of their son Benjie (Evan Bird), 13, a child star.
One of Sanford’s clients, Havana (Julianne Moore), is an actress who dreams of shooting a remake of the movie that made her mother, Clarice (Sarah Gadon), a star in the ’60s. Clarice is dead now and visions of her come to haunt Havana at night. Adding to the toxic mix, Benjie has just come off a rehab program he joined when he was 9 and his sister, Agatha (Mia Wasikowska), has recently been released from a sanatorium where she was treated for criminal pyromania…”

And two teaser posters:
