“Once a scrawny, scrappy stray kitten, Beckett now lives a life of luxury as the pampered pet of Dr Rose Everhart. Everything comes easily to him – food, play, tickles, affection – and he takes it all for granted, until one day he loses his precious ninth life… Faced with the inevitable, he pleads with the Gatekeeper of the Afterlife to allow him to return to his perfect life. The Gatekeeper is in the midst of explaining that this isn’t possible when Beckett suddenly sees a way of escape and makes a leap for it, activating the ‘Hereafter’ system whilst doing so. And so, this pampered kitty returns to earth with a new set of lives…but not all is as it seems and he soon realises that you should be careful what you wish for!”
That’s a big fat cat, he could be a banker!
