Avatar Sequel

Avatar Movie SequelWe heard that the plot of Avatar 2 could bring to an other planet. Well, sounds like it will indeed happen! But it won’t a planet that far from Pandora, Director James Cameron recently gave a hint:

Avatar 2 Movie

“We have some story ideas about how to branch out into other moons of Polyphemus and the Alpha Centauri A (ACA) solar system.”

Director James Cameron

Here’s the planet Polyphemus and its orbiting moons:

Polyphemus - Avatar 2 Movie
The first Avatar was just a high-tech Dance with Wolves movie, a marvelous movie, but a poor plot full of outdated stereotypes. Hope that James Cameron will come up with a really brand new story for the movie Avatar 2!

Are you kidding me? Have you ever even watched either movie? Drawing a few parallels from a Sci-fi action/thriller to a historically based fictional movie–apples and oranges my friend. Please explain further how the plot was “poor” and “full of outdated stereotypes”…. Is it an outdated stereotype for a scientifically advanced power hungry government, who’s depleting it’s own natural resources, to find a less advanced society and create a well intentioned lie in order to invade, steal and slaughter the local population. The US was founded on this stereotype and continues to this day every time we send our troops to an other third world country to take what they want and kill anyone standing in the way. Turning good soldiers, good men, into mercenaries or worse, turning them into corpses in a box to be sent back to their families or mentally traumatised vets who will never be the same. All of this because of some false sense of superiority and self entitlement… Outdated? This scenario couldn’t be MORE current, accurate or a better example of the watered down edited form of history America teaches, it’s a wonder we never learn from it.

Do you, do you really? Your previous comment dictates that you didn’t think much of the first one, why in the world would you excitedly anticipate a new story line for a second, supposedly copycat version of the first? ( Avatar 2!” ) Maybe you’ll compare that one to Far and Away or Pearl Harbor? An underwater theme was mentioned so maybe Jaws or The Meg? I honestly wouldn’t be shocked in the slightest. Thankfully, I’ll know which site/review to steer clear of. I’ll be dodging that like the Matrix. That’s the one with Keanu Reeves in it, not Equilibrium with Christian Bale. They both had main characters who had black hair as well as a similar costume and took place in the future. Wouldn’t want you getting confused from a small handful of commonalities.

You, of course, are entitled to your opinion, as asinine and convoluted as it may be. This, however, is my opinion of your assessment and backhanded complement of an amazing movie like Avatar and equally ignorant comparison to the iconic Dances with Wolves. I find the exclamation for your anticipation of Avatar 2 insulting and patronizing.
Can’t say I’ll be looking forward to subjugating myself to any more of your reviews, commentary or equally ill assigned comparisons to any further movies in the future.
