Actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been spotted on the set of Black Mass, the upcoming action crime drama movie directed by Scott Cooper that’s also starring Johnny Depp:

Plot:
“The true story of Billy Bulger (Benedict Cumberbatch), Whitey Bulger (Johnny Depp), FBI agent John Connelly (Joel Edgerton) and the FBI’s witness protection program that was created by J. Edgar Hoover.”

They’re filming a scene set during St Patrick’s Day (for those who don’t know, Saint Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated annually on 17 March, the death date of the most commonly-recognised patron saint of Ireland). The Bulger are of of Irish descent, that’s why Billy is taking part to the annual parade of the Irish community.
