Plot synopsis:
“Based on the inspiring true story of the bridging of one of the biggest racial divides imaginable. Mike Burden (Garrett Hedlund), an orphan raised within the Ku Klux Klan, attempts to break away from the Klan when the girl he falls in love with urges him to leave for a better life together. When the Klan seeks Mike out for vengeance, a black congregation led by the benevolent, Reverend Kennedy, takes in Mike, his girlfriend and her son, protecting them, and accepting them into their community.”

    Let me know when and where, in the Atlanta area, I can see the movie BURDEN, or when I can purchase it on DVD.

      It was supposed to come out this year to my understanding; however, I still haven’t found/seen a release date,…. the only dates I can find or releases are from another “Burden” revolving around Chris Burden, an artist, as opposed to Michael Burden from the KKK.

    It’s in theaters Sunday…January 21!
    I was an extra in it along with my husband and sons. I can’t wait! We’ve waited over a year.
