George Beard is the writer behind The Amazing Captain Underpants, a character he has created with his best friend and comrade in arms, Harold. Things take a funny and slightly disastrous turn when they hypnotize the school principal and convince him that he is a superhero.

Mr. Krupp is the worst principal in the world who hates anything fun, at least according to George and Harold. Plagued by the boys’ endless pranks, he has made it his mission in life to catch them red-handed.

Melvin is the school tattle tale, the kid who always has the answer to the teacher’s question and the unwitting accomplice to Professor Poopypants dastardly plan.

Professor Poopypants is an evil scientist turned elementary school teacher. He’s decided that George and Harold’s school is the perfect place to enact his evil plan, and the only chance for the world is Captain Underpants.
Plot synopsis:
“George Beard (Kevin Heart) and Harold Hutchins (Thomas Middleditch) are best friends who spend their days creating comic books and dreaming up pranks. One day they accidentally hypnotize their school principal (Ed Helms) into believing that he is Captain Underpants, a dimwitted super hero whose costume consists of underwear and a cape. As if this isn’t bad enough, their newest teacher (Nick Kroll) is a disgraced evil scientist bent on exacting his revenge at their school. George, Harold and Captain Underpants must band together to thwart his evil agenda.”
