A woman is wondering why Alton (Jaeden Lieberher) is wearing blue swimming goggles in this first preview clip of Midnight Special, the upcoming adventure drama science-fiction movie written and directed by Jeff Nichols:
Midnight Special – Why are you wearing those goggles?
“A father (Michael Shannon) and son (Jaeden Lieberher) go on the run after the dad learns his child possesses special powers.”
The father should not have left his boy alone in a car in the first place… Anyway, what about the meteor shower at the end of the clip? Is the apocalypse upon us? Or will the boy pulverize those meteors by emitting powerful energy beams from his eyes? Any idea what’s happening?
The film will hit theaters on March 18, 2016.
