Don Cheadle revealed to MTV that a screenwriter has been hired for a War Machine movie and that he’d be glad to reprise the role:
“They’re developing [the War Machine movie] now, they’re working on that. I think they’ve hired a writer, so we’ll see how it goes. It would be a lot of fun.”

He also said that War Machine is unlikely to show up in the Avengers movie.
