A teaser poster for Escape and Evasion, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Storm Ashwood based on a script he co-wrote with Leigh Nemeth:
ESCAPE AND EVASION
“Surviving the tragic events that lead to the deaths of his entire unit in Burma, Seth, seeks redemption in the arms of his dead comrade’s sister, Rebecca. Searching for closure on her sibling death, Rebecca finds herself romantically involved with Seth. As Rebecca reads Seth’s Army report aptly titled ‘E&E’ she seeks answers to her brother’s fears and her lover’s torment. Her friends and an Army Major help her, as she struggles her way through what she suspect is a military cover-up. As the fog of war clears and the truth ricochets its way through, Seth’s reality spirals into disarray, imaginary soldiers inhabit his waking nightmares. Unable to let go of the past and ineffectual as a civilian Seth struggles with the demons that appear to become more real then his report on what happened to his comrades.
When Rebecca finally discovers the truth, we learn that the story is fiction, leading to a final ghostly confrontation between Seth and his demons.”
They will begin shooting this December in Thailand.
The film has yet to get an official release date.
