The second installment hasn’t hit theaters yet, but I guess we may already expect a third installment. Director Christopher Landon said indeed he’s been planning a trilogy from the start:
“Oh, I have more than an idea. I always imagined this as a trilogy, so I have the third movie, but it’s just a question of whether this one does well. I would love to make the third one. I think it’s a really bonkers, fun idea. Oh god, well, I mean, there’s a big clue already in Happy Death Day 2U. There’s an end credit sequence, so people who stick around, they’ll see that. But, beyond that, mum’s the word right now”

A mystery horror franchise with such a great concept as HDD totally deserves another sequel. I can’t wait to see the en credit sequence of HDD2U to get a better idea of what toe expect from Happy Death Day 3. Will the Baby Face Killer show up again?
