We’ve got our hands on a first official picture of Insidious 4 aka Insidious Chapter 4, the upcoming supernatural horror thriller movie sequel directed by Adam Robitel based on a script by Leigh Whannell:
“Chapter 4 goes back to Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye)’s beginnings, and you also meet Elise at a very different point in her life. It takes place right after the end of Chapter 3 when she walks off with Specs and Tucker and they’re starting their company, Spectral Sightings, and they are now living at her home. They’re like her two sons, her two bad sons.
We meet her family, her mother, her father. We go back to her hometown, which is in New Mexico, and so that’s where this takes place and her quest to find the bad guy that’s been haunting her.”
With her unkempt hair Lin Shaye kind of reminds me of Christopher Lloyd as Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in Back to the Future, lol.
The cast includes Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson, Josh Stewart, Spencer Locke, Tessa Ferrer, Kirk Acevedo, Jerrika Hinton, Marcus Henderson, Josh Wingate, Pierce Pope, Hana Hayes, and Ava Kolker.
The movie Insidious Chapter 4 will open in theaters on October 20, 2017.
