Check out this new trailer of Marjorie Prime, the upcoming science-fiction drama movie adaptation written and directed by Michael Almereyda and starring on Hamm, Lois Smith, Geena Davis, and Tim Robbins:
“In the near future, a time of artificial intelligence: 86-year-old Marjorie – a jumble of disparate, fading memories — has a handsome new companion who looks like her deceased husband and is programmed to feed the story of her life back to her. What would we remember, and what would we forget, if given the chance? MARJORIE PRIME is a four-character chamber piece based on Jordan Harrison’s Pulitzer-nominated play, exploring memory and identity, love and loss.”
Instead of using them as robotic gigolos, please get those AIs to work on a cure to Alzeihmer’s and old age, lol!
Anyway, a new poster has also been unveiled, take a look below:
The release date of the movie Marjorie Prime is set to August 18, 2017 (in select theaters).
Stay tuned for updates.
